RECENT VICTORIES AT THE DMV Because the ability to drive is so important to our current and potential clients we are now posting our victories at the DMV. JULY 6-136281-XEA The Defendant was stopped for failing to maintain the lane. The police noticed signs of impairment and arrested her for DUI. Once transported back to the jail she took a breath test and blew a .134. Darren Finebloom challenged the suspension and was succesful in overturning the the Defendant's license suspension. 6069-XEA The Defendant was stopped for speeding on Jacaranda Boulevard in Venice Florida. He was made to perform the field sobriety exercises and subsequently arrested for DUI. He was transported back to the Jail where he blew nearly twice the legal limit. Finebloom & Haenel fought the suspension of his license and was able to get the suspension invalidated. Client gets there full license back.
June 4-14 SARASOTA COUNTY
8595-FVQ The Defendant was involved in an accident where he collided with a tree. He was arrested and blew a .282 on the breathalyzer. As a result his license was suspended for 6 months. Finebloom & Haenel challenged the suspension and argued due to the traffic crash investigators failure to appear that there was insufficient evidence to prove the client was in actual physical control of the vehicle. Client gets there full license back.
6324-XEA The Defendant was stopped for speeding and failing to come to a stop before the stop bar at a red light. The Defendant was asked to perform some field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested. She was taken back to the jail and refused to submit to a breath test. Finebloom and Haenel challenged the sufficiency of the evidence and won her license back for her. The Defendant was facing a 1 yr suspension on her license for refusing to submit to a breath test. Because we won the hearing she received her driving privileges back immediately.
